Community Programs

OUR COMMITMENT
Southcentre invests in our community to worthwhile causes that fall into our three focus areas: LIVE WELL, PLAY TOGETHER and STAY SAFE.

Southcentre is proud to be involved in these worthy community initiatives:

• Our Everyday Angels program donates proceeds from the mall's water fountains to local charities: the 2010 recipients include: the MEOW Foundation, the Calgary Soccer Federation's Fields for Life Campaign, the Kickstart/Restart program with McMan Youth, Family & Community Services and Inn from the Cold.
• Host site of Calgary's CIBC Run for the Cure for 6 years.
• Naming sponsor of the "Southcentre Arena" at the Trico Centre for Family Wellness.
• Funder of "Safe Surf", an interactive website for families to learn about online safety.
• Providing mall space to local non-profit groups through our Community Booth and Community Room.
