Feeling the Pride

Can you feel the love? With Pride Month in full swing, weโ€™ve rounded up the most covetable Pride pieces from brands that are committed to creating positive change in the LGBTQ+ community.

The North Face

Take your celebrations into the great outdoors with North Faceโ€™s cool capsule that highlights the progressive Pride flag colours. The brand is also donating $100,000 to Brave Trails, an organization that connects LGBTQ+ youth to nature through a leadership-led summer camp format. From shower slides to the North Faceโ€™s revered puffers, you can find the whole rainbow-adorned collection at Sport Chek.

Thereโ€™s no better time than Pride Month to sport a pair of fluffy Ugg sandals that are all-gender inclusive and made for the whole family! This yearโ€™s ultra-colourful, off-the-wall collection is supporting The Trevor Project, a non-profit that provides 24/7 crisis support for young people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning.

Michael Kors

Leave it to Michael Kors to deliver a fashion-forward Pride collection with real meaning. When you purchase the brandโ€™s special-edition tote and wristlet, 100% of the proceeds benefit OutRight Action International. This human rights organization aims to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ folks through advocacy, movement resourcing and research.

Everyoneโ€™s favourite Queer Eye personality and celeb hairstylist Jonathan Van Ness has launched a special Pride version of their Complete Hydrating Air Dry Hair Cream, a beloved frizz-defending product thatโ€™s gloriously designed by LGBTQ+ artist Zipeng Zhu. You can scoop the hair must-have at Sephora now.

In celebration of Pride Month, iconic footwear brand Vans has tapped three artists to put their expressive spins on everything from buckets hats, and skater tees to Vansโ€™ ubiquitous slip-ons. The youthful yield becomes even more monumental when you consider the brandโ€™s $100,000 contribution to the Tegan and Sara Foundation, which provides scholarships and fund support for LGBTQ+ summer camps in Canada and the U.S.

Whether youโ€™re out on a 5k run, taking part in a parade or just wanting to stay on top of your workday, show your Pride with Appleโ€™s new Pride Edition Watch bands. These woven wristbands are a symbol of the tech brandโ€™s long-standing financial support of various nonprofits that support the LGBTQ+ community like The Trevor Project and Encircle.

Now for a little local love: Montreal-based ready-to-wear retailer RW&CO. has launched a bold and uplifting collection that serves to highlight the brandโ€™s new partnership with Rainbow Railroad, a Canadian charity that helps LGBTQ-identifying people around the world find safety from persecution.

We canโ€™t think of a better reason to restock your lipstick collection than M.A.Cโ€™s latest collab in support of the queer community. For every Viva Glam x Keith Haring lipstick purchased, 100% of the $25 price goes directly to organizations that support women and girls, LGBTQ+ folks and those living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
